Designed by KM Designworks in 2020, Pitstop is a 900 m² private car gallery and lifestyle space created for a motorsport enthusiast and collector. The project's core vision is to establish a spartan, understated architectural atmosphere that reflects the spirit of the vehicles and the character of the collection.
The gallery features a material palette defined by black glass surfaces, exposed concrete walls, stainless steel details, and epoxy flooring — durable and timeless choices that enhance the space's industrial identity. Natural light is deliberately limited, replaced by a carefully orchestrated lighting system tailored to each individual car. This allows every vehicle's form, details, and presence to stand out in a precisely controlled environment.
Additionally, custom display areas have been developed for the collector's unique Formula 1 parts collection. These zones are optimized both for presentation and preservation, seamlessly integrated into the overall spatial composition.
In line with KM Designworks' bespoke design philosophy, every interior element — from fixed furniture to art pieces — has been shaped according to the collector's preferences and needs.
Pitstop is not merely a car gallery; it is a timeless architectural experience where personal passion and refined design come together in harmony.
