Bold contrasts: Stainless steel staircase, reinforced concrete wall panels alongside dark veneered built-in furniture blended with contemporary and modernist artworks

On the lower floor, the dining room can be sealed off using two sliding panels displaying a fine example of Japanese joinery. The fireplace acts as a filter between the dining and sitting areas and a library divides the bar and the study with the same lightness.

The gem of the project is a semitransparent staircase covered in stainless steel panels that gives enhanced depth to the entrance area which has full visibility of the view from a hilltop.

The dark colour choice for the external walls serves to augment the floating effect one feels at this top floor of a high rise Villa building.
